Whether suspended from a helicopter, descending into blue waters, or riding alongside a vaquero through a stretch of desert, River’s work is rich and rooted in authentic connection.

Raised by two fine-art photographers, River’s love for adventure began at 12 when his family set sail on a three-year voyage through Central America. These influences give his photography a visual poetry while maintaining the precision and reliability required for large-scale production.

River grew up understanding that a photograph is more than a picture; it’s a conversation. That belief guides his directing style today, where trust comes first and every story unfolds from real emotional truth.

His artistry— experiential, lyrical, and deeply human—has anchored campaigns for brands across the globe.

He makes his home in Austin, Texas, where he lives with his wife Christin Rose, and their children, Ace and Goldie.
